Can you believe it?  ECPokerTour in Malta has just ended and now it’s time for the next big tournament.  ECPokerTour Barcelona is on its way!

This time the ECPT it is set to take place from March 19th through the 21st, 2010 in Barcelona – and Titan Poker’s top players are going to be there vying for the tournament’s €500,000 Guaranteed Prize.

As one of Europe’s most exclusive live poker series, the ECPokerTour Barcelona €2,500 + €250 Main Event will be held in the luxurious confines of the Gran Casino de Barcelona.

In the lead up, for players to gain entrance, we’ve launched a series of online poker satellite tournaments. 

The lucky winners of the ECPokerTour Barcelona package (valued at $7,000/€4,800) will receive a whole list of lucrative prizes including the Main Event buy-in, four nights’ accommodation at Hotel Arts in Barcelona (including breakfast and dinner for both the player and his/her guest), entrance to the welcome party plus dinner, money for flights and spending cash.

Super Satellite tournaments are hosted by Titan Poker every Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday night, while Qualifier Satellite tournaments are being played around the clock with buy-ins beginning as low as $1+$0.10.

The Valletta Marina by Night

The TitanPoker Euro City Poker Tour is back, and today players will take their seats in the Casino De Venezia, a wonderful place located in front of the marina of Valletta, on the island of Malta.

The previous Titan ECPT was held in Salzburg, Austria, in March 2009. Blowups, bad beats and all the action you expect from a great poker tournament were featured at the rendez-vous in Salzburg.  We’re expecting nothing less from the stage in Malta.

About 130 players are expected today. Some of them have already registered, while the dealers are waiting for the traditional “shuffle up and deal”.

The action had a good start last night, with a wonderful Titan Welcome Party on the 3rd floor of the Casino De Venezia, with a nice view on the marina.

All of the players (and their friends) were invited by Titan to an open-bar party, that included free beverages and food.

At the end of the party, Oriental dancers performed a live  show.

Traditionally, a good poker tournament never starts on time.  And so, in a telling sign of good things to come, Titan ECPT Malta is going to start with a slight delay…
